An exciting opportunity has arisen for a “Continuous Improvement Manager” role in Bulgaria, for our client who is a world leader in mineral-based specialties for industry specializing in the extraction and production of high-quality materials. Role Overview:
The CI Manager leads cross-functional teams to define and execute continuous improvement programs in order to improve cost competitiveness and efficiency of processes, practices and organizations.

Responsible also for the sites in SEE (Turkey, Egypt and Bulgaria)
Responsibilities and Duties
Leads cross-functional teams to define and execute continuous improvement programs in order to improve cost competitiveness and efficiency of processes, practices and organizations.
Deploys and sustains programs within the factories and mines by improving Working conditions with MUST HAVES and generating margin improvement. Cultivates and promotes a strong continuous improvement culture.
Supports analysis of processes and practices to enable safety / efficiency / quality continuous improvement initiative generation, also with the support of Continuous Improvement Hub Manager.
Generates detailed continuous improvement initiatives to generate savings with the cooperation of Plant managers.
Provides technical support and expertise to on-site teams for deployment and improvement projects.
Monitors progress of continuous improvement projects and related savings, including process management improvement, process modification, and energy optimization. Maintains and creates appropriate documentation for reports, project execution, and data analysis.
Supports Operation Sites & Supply Chain team members to support continuous improvement deployment.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
Engineer or equivalent
Minimum 5 years' experience in Operations Management and Operational Excellence program management;
Proficiency in spoken and written Bulgarian.
Fluent English
Desirable:
Experience of working within a culturally diverse global company
Conversant in Turkish language would be advantageous
To be able to travel abroad
Skills & Person Specification:
Strong leadership with the ability to draw and embody a strategic vision
Flexible working hours to accommodate diverse geographic locations
Good project management skills and ability to work well under pressure so as to meet timelines and deadlines
Ability to work within a culturally diverse global company
Experience in communication and cooperation with geographically distributed teams
